    The thing about dredge is that its a victim of its own success.

    Because the deck is strong enough and consistent enough that it will usually win against almost anything Game 1.

    ...but then that makes every single tournament player that knows [dredge] is a thing run graveyard hate in their sideboard.

    And then [dredge] just gets its ass reamed out in Games 2 and 3 post-sideboarding when the opponent drops a turn 1:
