For me it was Shaq, Kobe, & MJ. Only basketball players I ever cared about.

MJ is a little before my time, I mostly remember his garbage year on the Wizards.

As a Celtics fan, will always remember those Lakers-Celtics matches fondly. Loved his work ethic, and passion for the game. He was thriving in retirement too. (Winning Oscar, business ventures)

For being a guy who likes Basketball, I admittedly wasn't familiar with a lot of his work though his name did pop up everywhere so I knew he was a star in the game. I was extremely surprised and shocked to see this, just so cruel how he went out this way as well as his daughter.

Never was a big solo Kobe fan. But shaq and Kobe together was my favorite time in basketball. Greatest duo ever to me.
