So, what can we expect in this year or even this decade when it comes to mainstream technology?

And can anyone perhaps summarize how the last decade went if possible? There were a lot of things that changed in a short span of time.

I'm gonna call it, VR technology is gonna find a place in mainstream gaming. Self-driving cars seem inevitable, and hopefully we see some advancements in the internet to make false information less of a constant annoyance (rather than the other way around)

There could also be an opportunity to see past innovations finally be brought to a conclusion.

With VR in particular, there are two things that stop it from being a huge mainstream success.

                1) The technology still isn't cheap enough for most people, something that I believe will eventually be solved. Almost naturally, with the way technology in general advances.
                2) Game devs need to find a way to interface with the technology to make something a little more in-depth than "Job Simulator". This is limited only by imagination and the fact that walking in-game but standing in place irl leads to queasiness (something that the early 3D era also had to deal with).

The fact that VR is a thing on smartphones and not the video game platforms that originally got the ball rolling in that field is telling really.

Hopefully, there won't be any flying cars in the near future as I shudder at the thought of reckless drivers existing anywhere above ground.

I've always lacked a sense of balance, so I'm well-aware that I'm not suited anywhere inside a flying car. ^_^

Self-driving cars will happen first, so flying cars won't be THAT bad.

Personally, the idea of having a self-driving car is already horrible enough, so tacking on the idea of a flying car. . . .

It's a recipe for disaster, and stomach knots, Org.

I must disapprove of the idea of constructing a flying car, and live the rest of my days as a person that drives on the ground.

                          That will be my fate.

That's fine. All the other people with flying cars are gonna make ground trips way easier.

                              That's true.

                              Hehehehehe!

I'm certain that would make everyone rejoice in joy, so that makes me truly happy.

Akin to the joy of a dove soaring in the heavens above, I merrily await the days that everyone in afforded the option of being a ground-driver or a flight-driver.

Furthermore, I'm happy that you're alive and well, Org.

I couldn't possibly ask for more- the well-being and happiness of loved ones is utterly sublime, after all. ^_^

                                  Yup-Yup! (^_^)

I'm not one to uncharacteristically tarnish a splendid atmosphere or mood, nor am I one to sulk in such an overt repulsive fashion, so its only natural that I'd be an Eternal Sunshine!

I'm eternally unchanging, after all. <3

Moving along, I'm just happy that I get to see everyone again.

In all honesty, I haven't once stopped thinking of everyone before or after my open-heart surgery, so it was quite the torturous and agonizing period of time as I was just preoccupied with everyone in my thoughts/prayers.

I just knew that the Lord would keep you all safe and sound, but with all the world-wide madness that's been transpiring over these past couple of months.... I just couldn't rest knowing that something could have happened to anyone of you.

I'm relieved knowing that you're all happy, safe, and healthy with a full life ahead of you- that's all I ever wanted for each and every one of you, after all. =)
