All-Access Join Requests

On this site, we have a section I call "All-Access". It's a special section that only members of a particular group are able to see, much less post in.

In All-Access, the rules will be more laxed and we will allow more mature content. In order to gain access to this site, you have to show a certain level of maturity as well as verifying, through your profile, that you're over the age of 18. If you wish to be considered for admittance into the section, post here and I will determine whether or not you're worthy.

But be sure to give your age in your post, if you do not I won't give you access and I'll simply overlook your post.

Unfortunately, I don't believe vBulletin Version 5 has that function. The permissions and groups can be set up, but there is no way for a user to request access to my knowledge -- unless this has been changed (if so, I can't find it).

You're probably correct. The option for a publicly joinable usergroup is available, but there doesn't seem to be a USERCP any longer. I may have to turn this thread into a join request thread.
